ITV I’m A Celeb fans floored by Jamie Lynn Spears’ real age

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans have been floored by campmate Jamie Lynn Spears’ age.

Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn made her debut in the jungle on Sunday, 19 November, alongside JLS star Marvin Humes and soap legend Nick Pickard.

However, as fans watched her take on her first trial of the series, they were surprised to discover her age.

One person tweeted on X, formally known as Twitter: “Just had to google the age of Jamie Lynn Spears because I swear she was a similar age to me, and she is. #ImACeleb.”

While another viewer penned: “Can't believe Jamie Lynn Spears is only 32!”

A third wrote: "Jamie Lynn is only 32, she looks the same age as her sister, if not older.”

Jamie Lynn entered the jungle in dramatic fashion on Sunday as she jumped out of a plane alongside Marvin and Nick.

However, it didn’t end there as the trio then had to face the first bushtucker trial of the series in the form of Temple Of Doom.

They managed to navigate their way through the task and walk away with an impressive six out of six stars.

Despite the full-on start to the series for the actress and singer, she has reportedly sparked concern for the show bosses after “isolating herself” from the rest of the camp.

A source has toldThe Sun: "She has kept herself somewhat separate, not really socialising — and stayed in bed."

However, in Sunday’s episode, Jamie Lynn seemed at home in the camp, and she said that her fellow campmates had been "really nice and really kind" and made a "wonderful impression" on her.

The concerns started when she landed in Australia and seemed to ignore the press as she walked through the airport.

A telly insider toldThe Mirror: “It is disappointing Jamie Lynn wouldn't speak to journalists out in Australia. She kept her head down at Brisbane airport which is fair enough after a long flight, but it is highly unusual to not take part in the media chats whilst waiting to go into camp this week.

“In fact, it is almost unprecedented and even Boy George took part last year when he has rarely done interviews for a decade. The last contestant we can remember to refuse to do the pre show interviews was David Gest, and that was back in 2006.

“It is not a great sign if you are hoping Jamie Lynn is going to be hugely talkative on the show and give up lots of goss about Britney. Hopefully, she finds her voice in camp.”
