ITV I’m A Celeb viewers upset for Nella Rose after ‘sad’ detail about jungle exit
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left upset for Nella Rose after spotting a ‘sad’ detail about her elimination from the jungle show.
Nella, 26, became the second contestant to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity on Monday night. Campmates are normally greeted by a loved one at the end of the famous bridge when they leave the jungle, with the reunion caught on cameras.
However, Nella did not meet anyone at the end of the bridge – something that fans found upsetting for the YouTuber.
One viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "It was so sad no one was at the bridge waiting for Nella."
A second added: "Wasn't a fan of Nella but sad no one was at the bridge waiting for her."
Another viewer wrote: "Ngl I do feel quite sad that Nella never had anyone waiting for her at the end of the bridge."
Nella was all smiles however and was greeted with cheers at the five-star Marriott hotel in Surfer's Paradise. Here she got a hug from her jungle pal, Frankie Dettori, who was the first celeb eliminated from camp.
It’s now reported that Nella has reunited with her brother Albert, who landed in Brisbane hours after her jungle exit.
A source told the Mail Online, that Nella would take a day "to relax and process" and: "While she absolutely loved her experience, there has also been a lot to digest and discuss with ITV plus her team, she didn't feel ready to be interviewed on live television by Lorraine just yet.
"Her brother Albert arrived in Australia shortly after she was evicted from the show, and it means the world to her having him by her side.
"It may have looked like she wasn't met by anyone close to her as she crossed the I'm A Celeb bridge, but her brother wasn't far away."
After her exit, Nella spoke to presenters An McPartlin and Declan Donnelly about the disagreements she had in camp with fellow campmates Fred Sirieix and Nigel Farage.
The star clashed with First Dates star Sirieix after he remarked that he was old enough to be her father.
Nella, who has lost both her parents, did not say anything at the time but later confronted Fred, 51, saying: “Don’t bring up my dead parents, are you stupid?”
Asked about the clash, Nella said: “I just feel like in the middle of an argument, or in the middle of a disagreement, you shouldn’t bring up sensitive topics.
“And I feel like, in the middle of a disagreement, he brought up a sensitive topic. I didn’t understand why he would do that.”
Asked if it might have been a misunderstanding, she said: “It could have been, but things are so heightened in the jungle that everything is a big thing.”
She spoke about being among people from different backgrounds and said: “I’m not usually put in situations where I’m around people that don’t have the same kind of walk of life as me.
“So when they have different mindsets, and I hear them, I’m shocked because I’m like, ‘People think like this’.
“I automatically have to say something about it, because to me it’s just kind of shocking sometimes.”
Discussing Nigel, she added: “I think that Nigel is an amazing person, until he speaks about what he really believes in, and it’s like, ‘You’re a cool guy but why do you think like that?'”
