ITV I’m A Celebrity’s Sam Thompson’s rumoured ‘feud’ with sister Louise explained
Reality star, influencer, podcaster and businessman Sam Thompson is currently starring in this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and since entering the jungle, has been publicly backed by his sister and fellow Made in Chelsea star, Louise.
From sharing Instagram stories of Sam in his camp attire to penning a heartfelt post wishing him luck on the show, it's clear that the 31 year old has a strong support system back home.
However, earlier in the year it was reported that Sam and Louise, 33, were potentially feuding, following a cryptic social media post that hinted at a family rift, before swiftly being deleted. Here's all you need to know about the rumoured feud…
Back in May, Louise took to her social media stories to open up about her personal life, sharing with her 1.4 million followers that she was going through some "significant issues" away from the limelight. The mum of one reportedly typed: "I dealt with a lot of stress last week and I'm not as resilient as I used to be. Or maybe I am. Maybe I'm more resilient, I'm just dealing with much more significant issues.
"Health issues, family feuds etc. When you have a child, you have less time to be selfish and to look after yourself."
Despite the post only being up for a short time, the "family feud" comment led fans to speculate that she was talking about her relationship with her brother Sam.
Following this, social media sleuths noticed that Louise neglected to share or congratulate Sam on his major documentary, Sam Thompson: Is this ADHD?, in which he opened up about his diagnosis and battle with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Meanwhile, when Sam was posting about the doc, he also failed to mention his sister in any of his posts, and instead directed his thanks and gratitude solely to his girlfriend, former Love Island star Zara McDermott.
"I'm really proud of who I am, and am very lucky to have a girlfriend who supports me the way Zara does," Sam shared on Instagram.
Elsewhere, a source spoke to MailOnline at the time, telling the outlet that "it's no secret Sam and Louise have drifted apart in recent months," and that "the recent lack of communication as they embark on particular projects has caused a rift which they've, as yet, failed to address."
The source then added that the "family hope it's just a typical brother and sister fallout," which in recent months, seems to have been the case, as the pair have appeared in multiple posts on each other's Instagram.
Most notably, on Sam's birthday in August, where he posted a snap of him, Louise, and his two-year-old nephew, Leo alongside the caption: "I'm incredibly lucky to have the people I have in my life. It’s never lost on me how much I lean on my family and friends."
