Karen's almighty clash with an enemy ahead of her tragic EastEnders exit
Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) is set to leave EastEnders in circumstances not yet known, but before she goes she is sure to make time for another clash with her least favourite person: Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Sharon’s relationship with boxing promoter Dorian is set to reach new levels following a date, and ex-boyfriend Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) grows jealous when he spies him handing her flowers alongside a kiss on the cheek.
In his annoyance, he decides to get his own back by taking Albie out for the day without telling her anything about it.
Terrified Sharon is quick to confront Karen for any information, but the launderette manager takes much delight in not giving anything away.
Sharon makes it clear she’s not messing around when she threatens to call the police if Keanu doesn’t bring her son home soon.

Thankfully, Keanu arrives back just in the nick of time, though Sharon is less than pleased and soon the pair are rowing over where they’ve been.
The next day, Keanu tries to make amends by offering his sincere apologies, but Sharon isn’t having any of it. She makes it clear that she wants a third-party arbitrator present whenever they discuss Albie’s childcare arrangements.
When Keanu and Karen meet with Sharon and her solicitor they are left gobsmacked when she drops a bombshell.
Soon, things turn nasty in the Vic as Sharon and Karen clash, and their confrontation soon inspires a plan for Karen.
As she explains all the details to Keanu, she pushes him to agree to it. Will he go along with what she wants?
Meanwhile, Sharon has a dilemma of her own, as she confides in Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) that she is still in love with Keanu. She goes on to share her fears that he doesn’t love her back and just wants access to Albie as she deliberates over what to do.
Is Karen set to get in the way of Sheanu’s happy ending, before leaving Albert Square, possibly for good?
