Katie Price reignites feud with Harvey’s dad Dwight Yorke and reveals last time she saw him and said 'don't insult me' | The Sun

KATIE Price has reignited her feud with baby-daddy Dwight Yorke.

The pair dated briefly back in 2001 with the former glamour model, 45, falling pregnant during their relationship.

Katie welcomed their son Harvey, 21, in May 2002, by which time the couple had split.

Since his birth, the proud mum has had a difficult relationship with the former footballer – who has nothing to do with his son.

She has claimed that Dwight, 51, has only seen his son a handful of times – despite her desperate plea for him to be in Harvey's life.

Harvey was diagnosed with a rare condition called septo-optic dysplasia – a disorder of early brain development which affects how our body’s hormones are produced.

As he got older, now aged 21, his needs have become more complex and he has blindness, Prader-Willi syndrome and he is also on the autistic spectrum.

Katie has now lashed out at the ex Manchester United player in her latest podcast – when she said the last time she saw Dwight was at Harvey's birth.

She told her podcast of her labour and said: "Dwight turned up at the last minute but he didn't want to come in the room or cut the cord so dad did it, he cut the cord.

"And anyway I remember Dwight saying 'oh there's a bruise' and I thought 'don't insult me.'

"That was the last time I sort of saw Dwight, I didn't see him many times after that.

"I found it [the mark] and it's called a Mongolian blue spot, it fades eventually."

Back in 2019, Katie begged the footballer to visit Dwight – but to no avail.

At the time, she uploaded a video in which she asked Harvey: "Who do you want to write a message to on Instagram?"

Harvey replies: "Daddy Dwight."

His mum asks: "What do you want to say?" to which the teen shares: "I love you Daddy Dwight, you look beautiful."

Katie tagged Dwight's official Instagram account in the caption, writing: "Anyone who knows @officialdwightyorke19 please get him to contact his son.

"Harvey doesn’t deserve this, he see’s his other son Tiger so I don’t understand!

"He does charity work for different kids charities yet doesn’t see or support his own son. I don’t get it!"

In the same year, Katie revealed her plan to re-introduce her son to his father by "driving up to his house and banging on his door".

Meanwhile, tipping the other end of the scale, Katie's mum Amy has exclusively told The Sun why Dwight was her favourite of her daughter's boyfriends.

The revelation was contained in her book The Last Word, serialised exclusively in The Sun – and she explained Dwight took top spot because he gave the family Harvey.

In the tell-all tome, she wrote: "But of all the men Kate has dated in her life, Dwight will – perhaps surprisingly – always be my favourite because he gifted us this incredible child.

"Kate initially thought about having an abortion and visited a clinic three times, but simply couldn’t go through with it.

"Dwight did agree to attend scans and classes with her, only then to not show up.

"He told her his mates thought she was keeping the baby just to get his money.

"She has certainly proved them all wrong on that.

"While she was pregnant, Kate refused to give up on Dwight and the dream that he might eventually settle down with her and their baby.
