Linda stuns Alfie with surprise admission in EastEnders
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) left Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) stunned with a powerful admission in recent EastEnders scenes, as he sought her advice on his current dilemma.
Alfie was in a difficult position, having just learned that Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) had cheated on wife-to-be Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) ahead of their wedding.
Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) accidentally let slip about Phil’s night with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) after one too many shots, leaving Alfie reeling.
In tonight’s (September 20) episode, he battled with his conscience as he debated whether or not to break the news to Kat.
When he ran into bestie Linda, he took the opportunity to ask her advice on what he should do.

Keeping it vague, he asked what she would do if she knew something that would cause trouble in the short term, but ultimately save a lot of grief in the long run.
Thinking back to her own experience of losing love of her life Mick to evil Janine Butcher, Linda revealed that she regretted doing the adult thing by ‘keeping quiet’ and trying not to ‘upset the applecart’, before dropping the most iconic line of the year.
‘Now I wish I’d taken a flamethrower to the applecart the day the b*tch moved in’.
Slay queen.
It is understandable why Linda would feel this way, as Janine and Mick’s marriage went up in smoke when all of her lives were unravelled, and led to Mick disappearing at sea on Christmas Day.
With Linda’s warning ringing in his ears, Alfie headed over to tell Kat the truth.
However, after seeing her so happy, he soon realised that he couldn’t be the one to break her heart, and instead kept his mouth shut, confronting Phil himself instead.
Will Alfie join Linda in regretting keeping quiet, or will everything work out for the best?
