MAFS’ Adrienne teases ‘future’ with husband Matt despite him ‘dating show star Shona’

Married At First Sight star Adrienne has teased that taking a 'risk' and marrying Matt has 'paid off,' despite reports he has now moved on with Shona.

Adrienne, 27, spoke to Closer about why she wanted to appear on the E4 show, saying she'd hoped to move on from a toxic ex.

Speaking to the magazine, the Project Support Officer said: "People think that you're not in it for the right reasons or you're just there to build your socials.

"However, I'd just gone through a crazy experience with… I'm going to say a boy, because he was not a man, who just played mind games and tricks, and I thought, 'What have I got to lose?' I clearly can't choose men for myself."

"To me, if you don't take any risks, you're not going to get any rewards."

She then teased at the possibility of a future with Matt, adding: "Clearly, from our wedding day, it pays off."

But it comes amid reports that fellow cast member Shona has now embarked on a romance with Adrienne's husband, Matt, since leaving the show.

Matt and Adrienne seemed loved up as they tied the knot during an episode that aired on 16 October.

However, two days later, the couple started having problems, as viewers watched the pair spectacularly fall out during their honeymoon abroad.

While fans are yet to discover if and how the pair will break up on the show, Shona, 31, and Matt were reportedly spotted on a date together in a Starbucks coffee shop.

Shona also told fans that she has found love with the 'kindest man' upon leaving the show.

The Sun newspaper managed to obtain a snap of the pair reportedly enjoying coffees and snacks together.

OK! has contacted a representative at Channel 4 for comment. Shona and Matt are yet to have representation.

"They were chilling together in Starbucks and looked very relaxed in each other’s company," a source told the publication.

"They even brought their pet dog along. They must have been together for a while because they were hardly dressed to impress.

"I’m a big fan of the show, so I couldn't believe it when they strolled in together because Matt's only just joined the show."

Shona had originally married Bradley Skelly, 27, during her time on the experiment. But the pair were removed from the show after the experts became concerned about Brad's 'controlling behaviour.'
