One Direction superstar unrecognisable in Halloween costume – can you guess who he is? | The Sun

THE competition for the best Halloween outfit is more fierce than ever among celebrities.

This year has seen some noble efforts, from Dwayne Johnson's hilarious David Beckham guise to Maya Jama becoming Storm from X-Men.

But a One Direction star appears to have beaten them all with his creepy Harry Potter themed look.

Zayn Malik looked unrecognisable when he became wizarding villain Lord Voldemort for the night.

So accurate was the transformation that Zayn's fans were genuinely terrified.

One commented: "Zayn what the hell you scared the sh*t out of me."

Zayn is gearing up for a big return to the spotlight with new music on the horizon and a recent investment in a non-alcoholic drinks brand.

The star is now co-owner and chief creative officer of Mixoloshe.

Zayn said he's been intrigued by the non-alcoholic beverage industry for years and in recent months he's taken the leap to try and "disrupt" the sector.

Explaining his motivation in an interview with Billboard, he said: "I have such a busy work schedule so I have to be switched on. I’m always trying new sodas/flavored waters, all types of drinks that are refreshing and still fun. The chance to create my own with tastes I think are missing in the current market in the way we’re delivering them with our brand is really special.

"I’ve also really loved the idea that this category brings people together, no matter their drink choice. I’m all about that, and it feels good to be providing a high end product at an accessible price, which was really important for me."

And the career move coincides with with soon-to-be released solo material, two years after his third album Nobody's Listening.

"I’m putting the finishing touches on it right now," he said. "I’m ready for this to be shared with the world. Excited and ready."
