Paddy McGuinness sparks Phoenix Nights reboot rumours as he reunites with comedy legend from the show | The Sun
PADDY McGuinness has sparked rumours of a Phoenix Nights reboot after reuniting with one of the stars from the show.
Comedy Phoenix Nights ran for two series from 2001 until 2002 but Paddy, 50, has got fans hopeful the show will return.
Paddy, who played Patrick O'Shea in the programme, took to Instagram to share a snap of him with Archie Kelly star Kenny Senior.
And fans were quick to comment on the post, sharing their hopes for a reboot announcement.
One wrote: "Bring it back! Best show ever!"
Another said: "Get all the band back together Pad, best British comedy ever for me. Love it if there was a revival."

And a third added: "Please bring Phoenix Nights back!"
The show was focused around the members of working men's club The Phoenix Club in greater Manchester.
Comedian Peter Kay starred as main character Brian Potter and he previously revealed plans for a movie.
He said: "People always ask, ‘Will there be more Phoenix Nights?’ and I can now confirm there won’t — but I am thinking of a film.”

However Paddy once insisted that, if a film was in the pipeline, he knows nothing about it.
He said: "That’s not happening, let me tell you. Not that I know of . . . I’m probably not in it.”
