Popular seventies drama returning to screens next month for brand new series | The Sun

CHANNEL 5’s All Creatures Great and Small, a reboot of the original ‘70s series, is returning to screens next month with brand new episodes.

The reboot series first aired in September 2020 and is set to return for its fourth season on October 5.

Set in the Yorkshire Dales, this heartwarming series is based on the best-selling books by Alf Wight, whose pen name was James Herriot.

All Creatures Great and Small follows the life and work of three veterinary surgeons, James Herriot and brothers Sigfried and Triston Farnon, in the Dales in the late 1930s.

It is a reboot of the popular drama of the same name which aired on the BBC from 1978 to 1990. The original series starred Christopher Timothy, Robert Hardy and Peter Davidson as the beloved Yorkshire vets.

The show sees the vet trio tend to animals of all types and sizes, hence the name All Creatures Great and Small.
