Sharon Watts makes huge mistake ahead of Christmas murder in EastEnders | The Sun

AFTER multiple ups and an overwhelming amount of downs, Keanu Taylor and Sharon Watts will be tying the knot on Christmas Day.

However, before she can walk down the aisle with her beau, the EastEnders legend makes a huge mistake in upcoming scenes.

While they've had some rocky beginnings due to their romance starting off as an affair while she was still married with Phil Mitchell, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) have finally decided to commit to one another.

Many Walford residents, most particularly Keanu's mother Karen, have been opposed to their love story.

But despite their toxic mechanisms and penchant for scheming against one another, Sharon and Keanu have remained inseparable, forming a close-knit family with their son Albie.

However, as BBC One viewers will remember, Keanu has no idea the tot isn't even his biological son as Sharon recently found out he had actually been fathered by her former husband Phil.

Sharon has been desperately trying to keep Albie's parentage a secret but the guilt is clearly gnawing at her.

In scenes due to air, she decides it's time to push Phil as far as she can away from Albie by allowing Keanu to be legally recognised as the young boy's father.

The pair head to The Vic to celebrate finally putting Keanu's name on Albie's birth certificate – a victory for the hunk who has also been trying to be as involved as he could in the boy's life.

In fact, Keanu himself even staged a kidnapping with the help of his mother in a bid to steal Albie from Sharon who was then planning to move away to Abu Dhabi.

With only a handful of days before her big wedding day, Sharon later collects her dream wedding dress with her pal Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

But once back in the Square, Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) accidentally sends the dress flying into the road and Sharon is left devastated.

In The Vic, Sharon then reasons that her dress being damaged must be a sign for her to cancel the wedding.

Yet after some encouraging words from Linda, and a new dress from Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Sharon decides to forge ahead.

Later on, the Walford carol concert is in jeopardy when Kim Fox loses her voice, but Howie Danes soon steps up after some words of encouragement from Patrick Trueman.

Sharon, Kathy, Linda, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) all watch on as they try to supress their inner torment.

All six women will be involved in this year's Christmas murder mystery which was teased in February, 2023, with a macabre flashforward scene in The Vic.

In this scene, an unknown male victim is declared dead by a shocked Sharon wearing her wedding dress.

The only clue fans of the London-based drama have been left with to figure out his identity is the cufflinks he will be wearing, hinting that he could be attending Sharon's wedding.

Many viewers have speculated that he could even be her groom.

Could Keanu meet his end after finding out Albie isn't his son and trying to steal him away from Sharon?
