Sir Tom Jones’ appearance sparks concern as The Voice coach gives health update
The Voice: Judges sing Stairway to Heaven
Sir Tom Jones’ appearance sparked concern among The Voice viewers on Saturday night as the 83-year-old made his return to the ITV show.
Sir Tom, Anne Marie, Will.i.am, and Olly Murs opened the show by singing a rendition of Stairway to Heaven.
And while fans praised Sir Tom for his amazing vocals, others shared their concern about the singer.
Many noticed a mark on the Sexbomb hitmaker’s face, with @ChrisHydeCoope1 asking: “Whats that new spot on Tom’s face? Hope it’s ok…#TheVoice.”
@carrots23 echoed: “I hope Sir Tom has had that brown mark on his face checked out #Thevoice.” (sic)

@Valerie0623 went on to add: “I’m pretty sure Sir Tom gets everything checked out on/in his body regularly! If I look and move as good as him at 83 I’ll be well happy!” (sic)
@JonYouens pointed out: “Tom looks fed up doesn’t he?”
“Was just saying to the wife how old #TomJones is looking now! Just googled it, and he is in his mid-80s to be fair to him,” @jakemeyers2015 added. (sic)

Ahead of The Voice returning to screens, Sir Tom discussed his secret to keeping in great shape.
While the singer admitted he “can’t run like he used to”, he does like to keep as active as he can.
He said: “I work out, I walk, I used to run but I can’t run like I used to.
“You’ve got to keep active and the older you get the easier it is to get lazy!”
Sir Tom went on to speak about why he loves being a coach, adding: “Listening to new voices and hearing what’s out there.
“I’ve been doing it for so long but I’ve always been interested in the way people sound, the voices.
“So, this is a perfect thing for me as I’ve always loved listening to singers.”
The Voice returns next Saturday at 8.25pm on ITV.
