Strictly chaos as star unprepared for launch after making unexpected confession
Strictly: Bobby Brazier shares update on his training
The countdown to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing is well and truly on, with the launch night taking place tomorrow night on BBC One.
But one of the early favourites to possibly win the upcoming series has made a rather startling confession.
Bobby Brazier, who plays Freddie Slater on the beloved BBC soap EastEnders, was asked what his most memorable or standout Strictly Come Dancing moment was from any of the previous twenty series.
And his answer came as quite a surprise.
He revealed: “I’ve never watched the show, so I’ll be coming in fresh!”

Bobby was the 12th celebrity to be announced this year, with him also being the youngest contestant to take part this series, at just 20 years old.
However, he did explain that he “was always going to say yes, whether it was this year, last year, the next year,” because he loves dancing.
Bobby continued: “Whether it was on TV or not, the opportunity to dance with a professional dancer, and learn a different style of dancing every week is just my idea of a good time.”

As for previous dance experience, the actor outlined: “I’m not a trained dancer but I love to dance. I just love dancing so if I’m at a party, I dance, if I’m at home I dance…I’m always dancing.”
When asked if he had done anything to prepare for the upcoming live shows, he confessed: “I’ve done absolutely nothing.
“These dancers are the fittest people I’ve ever met, they’re like, robots – dancing machines! Maybe I’ll start stretching a little bit.”
It is not yet know which professional dancer Bobby will be paired up with. Could it be Dianne Buswell or maybe Katya Jones, Nancy Xu or even last year’s winner Jowita Przystal?
Fans will need to tune in to see how Bobby fares on the famous dancefloor but the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody thinks that one of his fellow contestants could possibly beat him to the Glitterball trophy.
He admitted that it could be Eddie Kadi as he remarked: “His hips do not lie.”
Other possible front runners, according to the bookies, are star of stage and screen, Layton Williams, TV presenter Angela Scanlon and former soap stars Nigel Harman and Adam Thomas.
All we can say is, roll on Saturday night! Viewers will finally find out who each of the fifteen celebrities will be paired up with.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday, September 16 at 6.35pm.
