Strictly Come Dancing star to return after recent exit
Strictly Come Dancing: Tess and Claudia wrap up first show
Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton is set to make his return to the series as a resident expert on Strictly: It Takes Two.
Kevin quit the series back in 2019 after being on the show for seven years and bagging a win with now girlfriend and mother to his daughter Stacey Dooley.
During the first episode of It Takes Two on Monday, it was announced that Kevin would be standing in for expert and sister Joanne Clifton.
Joanne usually appears on the show to give her advice and critiques the dances from the previous weekend, however, she has had to step away due to her commitments touring the country in Shrek The Musical.
Kevin has also gone on to be a first-time dad to daughter Minnie, who he and Stacey both keep private on their social media.

She expressed: “Yes it’s someone called Kevin, dunno if you know him, he came second in 2016 when I won.”
Taking a break from dancing, Kevin has gone on to star in musicals including Singing In The Rain and Strictly Ballroom alongside fellow Strictly star Maisie Smith.
Announcing his departure back in 2019, Keving took to Twitter and said: “To the entire Strictly family. The past 7 years have been some of the most wonderful years of my life.

“I am grateful to the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing for giving me the opportunity to have been a part of something truly special.
“Since first being called ‘Kevin From Grimsby’ by Sir Bruce Forsyth in 2013 I have experienced the highs of 5 finals, winning a Guinness World record on It Takes Two, the Strictly Arena tour Glitterball and then the ultimate of winning the 2018 series with Stacey Dooley.
“After finishing last series with the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas Special I want to leave on a high and have therefore decided the time has come to move on and focus on other areas of my life and career.”
Strictly: It Takes Two airs weekdays from 6:30pm on BBC Two.
