Strictly crisis as star Adam Thomas forced to miss training ahead of first public vote-off this weekend | The Sun
STRICTLY Come Dancing was thrown into crisis after Adam Thomas was forced to miss training ahead of the first public vote-off.
The Ex-Emmerdale star is partnered with Russian dancer Luba Mushtuk and will take to the dancefloor tonight.
Adam, 35, revealed he was forced to skip training because of his busy work schedule.
As well as doing Strictly Come Dancing, he is also filming Waterloo Road.
The actor has been playing Donte since the show started in 2006, and reprised the character when the series was rebooted last year.
Posting a picture of a clothing rail with some of Donte's clothes on, he wrote: "Missing a days training today… but it's all worth it."

He then added: "Work is work! Let's go Donte!!!"
Meanwhile, it comes as Adam admitted the "show curse has already happened", after he compared the pro-dancer to his wife Caroline, who he has been married to since 2017.
Spilling the beans on some juicy backstage gossip, including details on the infamous Strictly curse, he told his brothers Ryan and Scott on their podcast Mancs on the Mic: "The Strictly curse has happened.
"I know…I couldn't believe it myself but me and Luba…."

But it's not all as it seems as Adam quipped: "I'm joking," which promoted a gasp from his two brothers, before they began to chuckle.
Former Love Island's Scott added: "Everyone says Luba looks like Caroline," as Adam replied: "She does…she does."
Adam and Luba performed the Cha Cha Cha to Waffle House by the Jonas Brothers last Saturday.
Adam admitted he had "forgotten the routine" just minutes before his first live performance and was close to "throwing up".
The Waterloo Road star said: "It’s the most nerve-wracking experience of my life, and I'm not just saying that.
"Backstage I was so nervous I thought I was going to throw up because I've been working on this routine for so long, and then the night finally came, and then I found out that I was going first.
"My head, my mind, everything just went to mush, I completely forgot the routine. I was like, 'there's no way I can do this' and then I literally got on stage with Luba and I'm sat there and I'm like “I don't know the routine'.
"Thankfully, my legs did… [I went into] autopilot and my legs just looked up at me and went 'don't worry, mate, we'll take it from here, you just keep smiling, mate.”
