Strictly’s Ellie and Vito spark romance rumours after fans spot kiss

Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and professional dance partner Vito Coppola put on a dramatic performance as they danced the Paso Doble for week five of the Strictly competition.
The duo put on a steamy display as they danced to Insomnia by Faithless.
But it wasn’t the only drama that fans at home noticed. At the end of their routine, Ellie reached out for Vito to help her up.
They shared a moment where they looked into each other’s eyes and Vito pulled Ellie in for a celebratory kiss on the cheek.
Viewers at home were left wondering whether this was the start of a blossoming romance and took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their views. It’s understood that both Ellie and Vito are currently single.

One fan wrote: “Vito did or almost kissed Ellie at the end or am I tripping?” (sic)
Whilst another said: “Ellie & Vito were great! Loved that and Vito giving her a kiss at the end.”
A third commented: “I’ve been saying for WEEKS that Ellie and Vito are together and I was right!!!.”
A fourth went on to say: “Ellie and Vito absolutely smashed it this week! There was definitely *something* happening though [eyes emoji].” (sic)
A fifth added: “Ellie and Vito. Watch the end of the dance they do and it’s like they were about to kiss until they realised where they were.”
A sixth agreed writing: “Summit will def brew between Ellie & Vito #StrictlyComeDancing the amount of times he kept giving kisses.” (sic)

The judges scored the couple an impressive 37 points.
Craig Revel Horwood commented on their partnership, saying they were “on fire,” before awarding them 10 points.
They also received a perfect score from judge Motsi Mabuse, who described the routine as the best since the 2023 began. Giving her feedback she said: “”This is what we want. I felt like this was on a whole different level. This was attack, this was power, this was control.”
She added: “This was for me the very best show since we started the season. I loved it!”
The judges weren’t the only ones impressed by the couple’s performance on the dance floor. Fans also reacted well, taking to Instagram to share their views.
In a video of the dance posted to the 1.1 million followers on the official @bbcstrictly page one fan wrote: “The undermarking of Ellie is getting ridiculous now this girl could dance like a pro and would still not get the scores she deserves.”
Whilst another wrote: “Should have been 10 10 10 10” and a third commented: “For me the dance of the series! Should have been tens!”
A fourth added: “Should have been 10’s all round for Ellie and Vito. Fantastic dance. So disappointed by the judges scoring for this dance – seems very unfair. Ellie and Vito all the way.”
