SHIRLEY Ballas and Johannes Radebe have landed brand new roles that's worlds away from Strictly Come Dancing.

The dancing judge, 62, will guest star in the brand new series of Doctor Who.


Shirley and Johannes Radebe, one of the show's professional dancers, will feature in the special episode.

Speaking about her cameo, Shirley said: "The filming was one of the best days of my life, and we're doing a guest appearance with Jojo (Johannes Radebe) where I actually get to dance with Jojo and so many other dancers on the show.

"I'm very very excited for people to watch."

Russell T Davies, the showrunner, revealed the news on Wednesday's edition of Morning Live.

Sex Education's Ncuti Gatwa has taken over the role as the famous doctor for the next era.
