The Chase star shares what host is really like as people on TV put a mask on
The Chase's Bradley Walsh is "exactly" how he appears to be on screen, says his co-star.
Quiz pro Darragh Ennis spoke about his time on the show at the National Television Awards earlier this month.
When asked how he finds working with the iconic presenter, Darragh exclusively said: "He's exactly like that in real life, he definitely is, a lot of people on TV put on a mask on but he's exactly the same, he's a such lovely guy."

Darragh, who used to be a former contestant, joined the quiz panel in 2020 and is known as The Menace.
He enjoyed the awards night celebrations alongside his co-star Shaun Wallace, AKA The Dark Destroyer.
Talking about Bradley, Shaun agreed and said: "The banter is good with Brad, we all get on as Chasers as well."
Shaun, who has been a chaser since 2009, answered which part of the show he finds the most difficult.
He said: "There isn't anything, it's so enjoyable.
"I've been doing it for 14 years, I use my transferable skills as a barrister, thinking on my feet, researching, and being fearless in answering questions."
However, he did reveal just how much extensive research he puts in a week to stay on top of all things general knowledge for the show.
Shaun explained: "We've always got to keep ourselves contemporary – I do about two hours of research a day."
Darragh then added: "I do about five quiz competitions a week and I usually do about an hour a day on top of that."
We also tested the chasers to find out if they ever sympathise with the contestants who lose on the show. And does this mean they could ever give them an easy ride?
Darragh replied: "You feel sorry for them afterward, but we never give them an easy time, it would be wrong and that would actually be illegal too."
Out of the six TV chasers though, could they decide on who was the most intelligent out of the bunch?
When asked the question, they both instantly replied by pointing at Paul Sinha (The Sinnerman) who was standing nearby.
"He was the quiz champion of Britain, there is no contest," Darragh said.
The Chase airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 5pm
