This Morning fans want Rylan to be given coveted hosting job as he makes return
Rylan Clark has made his This Morning return and viewers are calling for him to be made permanent.
The TV star has appeared on the ITV show many times over the years and a year ago hosted with former presenter Ruth Langsford. And on Monday (30 October) he was back on the sofa.
He joined Josie Gibson, who is one of the rotating cast of presenters who have been fronting the show following the departure of long-term hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. And viewers thought the new pairing just felt “right”.

Many people took to social media to say how much they were enjoying Rylan’s presenting style. “Rylan’s actually perfect for this gig, isn’t he?” one posted on X, formerly Twitter.
“So glad to see the wonderful Rylan back,” said someone else. “Lovely to see @Rylan is back on This Morning," agreed another fan.
One person said that it just “feels right”. Another fan chimed in to say seeing the former X Factor star put a smile on their face. “Brilliant seeing you back on telly Rylan,” they added.
Others said they would like to see Rylan, 35, become a permanent part of the hosting line-up. And many said they would like to see him paired up with Josie on screen full-time.
One remarked: “Rylan and Josie. Yes.” “Let’s keep Rylan as a full time presenter,” suggested another fan.
“Rylan is a fantastic host," said one admirer. “Witty, smart, asks the right questions, natural, relatable, easy going and funny. The whole package for a permanent host.”
Another viewer said Rylan and Josie were “the perfect combination”. “First time I’ve enjoyed #This Morning in ages,” they added.
And another wrote: “TwitterX Petition @Rylan to become the full time presenter permanently.”
This Morning used to be hosted by Phillip and Holly, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary taking over on Fridays.
Phillip left in May after admitting to having an affair with a younger colleague, which he described as “unwise but not illegal”. Holly stepped down earlier this month after a man was charged in relation to an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her.
