TOWIE legend Lauren Goodger makes huge career move as she confirms return
TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has announced a major career move as she announced the newest members of the ITV show's cast – herself!
The reality TV show icon, 37, confirmed that she would be making her grand return to the show that initially brought her fame. Lauren first shot to fame when she first appeared on the ITV drama reality show back in 2010.
Lauren quickly became a staple of the show, joining the likes of Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris as one of the most memorable stars. She would go on to be on the programme for three years as cameras followed her through the chaos in the county, before she opted to leave the show in 2013.

After three years away from the show, Lauren made her grand return to the show in 2016, but following a small stint for a second time, she has not been seen on our screens since. But now, some eight years after last hitting our screens, Lauren has confirmed she will be back on the show for a third time.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she confirmed that she would be appearing once again on the show. She also hinted that TOWIE fans would not need to be waiting too long for her return, saying she would be filming once again in the new year.
"I'm hoping to go back in February," Lauren revealed. As well as this, she also dropped a huge bombshell as she admitted that a new member of the cast had been booked onto the show.
The new star's name could not be a better fit for mum Lauren, as she revealed that her daughter Larose, aged two, would be joining the show alongside her mother. "Yes, [she's joining] and meet up with Amy Childs for lunch with the kids!" Lauren beamed.
Childs, who also is one of the show's original cast, also brought her kids into the limelight. Now, it seems that Lauren would be following in her former co-star's footsteps as she introduces the world to her little bundle of joy.
Goodger said she hopes her return will turn attention to her life as a mum, as she tries to pull herself out of the awkward run-ins she had with her family in her original run. The proud mum-of-two welcomed her daughter Larose with former partner, Charles Drury, back in 2021.
The pair also had a second child, Lorena, back in July of 2022. But after complications, the pair's beautiful newborn tragically passed away shortly after being born.
The Only Way Is Essex continues to bring in huge audiences after it moved to the broadcaster's reality channel ITVBe. The current cast of the show had been hoping Lauren would be able to return to the show, as she was embroiled in "ongoing talks" before she was confirmed to come back.
