A Ma Maniére Unveils Its Air Jordan 5 "Dusk" and "Dawn"

James Whitner and his labels such as A Ma Maniére (AMM) have brought elevated storytelling to Jordan Brand and Nike. Earlier this year, AMM and the Jumpman team brought forth their “Understand The Why” story with a collaborative take on the Jordan Air Ship. Now, the duo has pivoted to the Air Jordan 5 with the “Still We Rise” campaign. Rooted in the messages shared by legendary writers James Baldwin and Maya Angelou, the story hones in on the “celebration of the Black community’s power and strength in its multitude of identities.”

Spotted previously, the Air Jordan 5 has been prepared in two colorways — “Dusk” and “Dawn.” The former combines black and burgundy across a suede build while the latter leans on gray and blue. Both pairs sport AMM co-branding at the tongue and outsole while also integrating a special monogram pattern at the classic TPU cage.

In addition to the release of the sneakers, complementary apparel has been designed by the duo. Black, cream and navy pieces suitable for the fall are highlighted by the inclusion of a special co-branded bomber jacket. Additional options include a fine cotton anorak and pant set, fleece hoodie and a set of t-shirts.

The launch of the latest chapter of A Ma Maniére x Jordan Brand kicks off with a general raffle and local priority access for the “Dawn” colorway that has already begun. Its official release, including the debut of the apparel range, will go down on November 17 via A Ma Maniére in women’s sizing (up to a size 16.5) at a price of $225 USD. Following this, the “Dusk” colorway will be an A Ma Maniére-exclusive later this year.
