Apple TV+ Raises Prices For the Second Time in One Year

Apple TV+ announced its second price increase in the span of one year.

The streaming service is now priced at $9.99 USD per month and $99 USD per year, rising from $6.99 USD and $69 USD, respectively. This increase follows October 2022’s price hike from $4.99 USD, the original price point at launch, to $6.99 USD. “Since launching four years ago, Apple TV+ has made history for streaming services by crossing major milestones in a short span of time, thanks to its extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment,” a rep said in a statement via Variety.

On top of increasing the prices of Apple TV+, the tech giant also confirmed a price hike for Apple Arcade to $6.99 USD a month and Apple News+ to $12.99 USD. The Apple One bundles will also experience an increase, with the Individual plan priced at $19.95 USD a month, the Family plan at $25.95 USD a month and premier at $37.95 USD a month.
