Jung Kook Added to 2023 Global Citizen Festival As Headliner

As Latto feature “Seven” continues to smash the summer charts – actually today becoming the first song of 2023 to sit atop the Billboard Global 200 for seven (!) consecutive weeks – BTS star Jung Kook continues to make a name for himself as an independent solo artist. Up next for the 26-year-old? To deliver his first U.S. performance as a solo artist, co-headlining New York City’s Global Citizen Festival later this month.

Landing in Central Park’s Great Lawn on September 23, Jung Kook joins a stacked lineup of headliners, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lauryn Hill and Anitta, with other performers spanning Megan Thee Stallion, Conan Gray, DJ D-Nice, Sofia Carson and Stray Kids.
