Liverpool FC and Converse Reveal Second Collaborative Capsule

Following the presentation of their first collaborative collection in April, Liverpool Football Club and Converse have reunited to unveil their second capsule.

The duo’s sophomore collection fuses Liverpool FC’s rich history with the diversity and creativity that reflects a new generation of global football fans. Additionally, the capsule takes pointers from the club’s iconic colors, architecture, and typeface – with key pieces coming in the form of a limited-edition unisex puffer jacket and Converse x LFC Chuck 70 high-top sneakers.

The latter incorporates a color-blocking and gradient style inspired by LFC’s classic away strips, while the corresponding cotton jersey Crew features illustrated LFC-inspired graphics and the Converse x LFC Star Player 76.

Meanwhile, the campaign features a cast of Liverpool FC fans who are lifelong supporters and creatives in their own right. Multi-discipline creative Dredz, singer-songwriter Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly stand alongside Liverpool FC men’s and women’s players including Darwin Nunez, Missy Bo Kearns, and Taylor Hinds.

Additionally, Sterling, Pixey, and Dredz have all played a creative role in the direction of the campaign alongside key members of Liverpool-based queer art collective and Converse social and community impact partner, Homotopia. Converse have invested in Homotopia’s Young Homotopia Creative Skills programme throughout 2023 – with Homotopia artists and Liverpool fans Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, Sian Bennett, Kolade and DJ Lauren Lo Sung all starring in the campaign.

This creative process is encapsulated by the Converse x Liverpool FC collaboration, which sets out to celebrate creativity and diversity within the game and connect those supporters who are aiming to build a more inclusive, creative, and diverse football community.

You can take a closer look at the new Converse x Liverpool FC collaboration above and it’ll be available to shop via the official Liverpool webstore now.
