Celebrity tributes pour in after fashion influencer Tanice Elizabeth dies in her sleep as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley praises ‘vibrant and beautiful’ mother-of-two

Family and friends have paid heartfelt tributes to a ‘smart and kind’ influencer who died ‘peacefully’ in her sleep. 

Luxury fashion and beauty creative Tanice Elizabeth Samuels, who lived in Belfast, passed away on Monday December 18, leaving behind her husband Jon-Paul and their two sons.

The Irish-Jamaican content creator and former lawyer believed to be her 30s, said she suffered from non-epileptic seizures, although her family are yet to confirm the cause of her untimely death.

Heartbreaking tributes have since poured in for the ‘beautiful’ mum via her Instagram page, including messages from family and fans. Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and singer Vanessa White have also penned tributes.

With a ‘heavy heart’, her family announced: ‘Our beautiful, smart and kind Tanice Elizabeth Samuels passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday 18th December.

With a ‘heavy heart’, Tanice’s family announced that the ‘smart and kind’ mother had passed away

‘Thank you for all the love and support you have shown Tanice on her journey’.

Former Victoria Secret model and wife of Jason Statham described her as a ‘vibrant and beautiful woman’: ‘Tanice you will be missed greatly by so many. I always enjoyed our time together. Such a vibrant and beautiful woman. My thoughts are with your family who you always spoke of so dearly’.

Her stylist pal Melissa wrote: ‘This is so heartbreaking!! May God allow her soul to rest in perfect peace. Praying for the family’.

Meanwhile, Saturdays singer Vanessa White said the news was ‘so heartbreaking’.

Fellow content creator Estée Lalonde also paid tribute: ‘My heart breaks for your family. Tanice was an angel on earth. From the moment I met her I simply adored her in every single way. All my love to your family’.

Patricia Bright said she was heartbroken over the news. She said: ‘Rest in peace. Heart breaking for the family, sending prayers at such a difficult time’.

Tanice affected the lives of so many, including her best friend’s sister who said: ‘The sadness will not lift – this beautiful woman who was such an incredible best friend to my sister and soul to the world will be with us forever’.

And describing her as an angel, a friend wrote: ‘I can’t believe this. What a lovely angel Tanice was and I’m so grateful to have shared and done really beautiful moments with her. Sending love to her partner, family and her children’.

Tanice, who recently expressed her happiness at being a ‘teen mum’ traded in her career as a lawyer to focus on influencing full time.

Speaking to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s beauty and skincare brand Rose Inc in 2019, she said: ‘I had just turned 30 and was spending so many hours in the office, so I started to question if this office life was what I wanted to do forever.

‘I completely broke down and was like, “I need something for me because all I’m doing is working, coming home, putting my kids to sleep and then going to bed and doing it all over again”‘. 

Following encouragement from family and friends, Tanice opened a public Instagram account, where she documented her life as a lifestyle and fashion creative.

It didn’t take long before she built up a legion of loyal followers and had some of the biggest fashion brands knocking at her door. 

Before her death, she had partnered with likes of Net-a-Porter, Mango and & Other Stories and had also co-founded Content for Better with stylist Lucy Alston – an online space dedicated to supporting a diverse collective of content creators and artists on social media.
