In addition to declaring the marriage as irreparable, Jonas’ filing emphasizes that it is in the best interests of their two children for him and Turner to share parental responsibility.
Joe has a reported fortune of $50 million, while Sophie, best known for her role in Game of Thrones, has a net worth of $12 million. Though their various assets couple complicate a divorce, reports say Joe and Sophie signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their 2019 wedding. The insiders additionally assert that the couple has been contending with significant issue for at least six months.
Over the past three months, it’s purported that Joe has assumed the primary role in caring for their two young children, even amidst his band’s busy touring schedule. At present, he serves as the primary caregiver for both children while the Jonas Brothers continue their tour across the United States.
Joe hasn’t commented on the divorce news, though he has been spotted wearing his wedding ring since the news broke, including during a recent performance in Austin, Texas.
