A must-haveCredit: amazon

Natalie Chui, Commissionning Editor

There's nothing that I dread more than doing the washing up, and it's even worse when there are hard stains left in the pot.

That's why this Prime Day, I'm making my life easier by buying this palm scrub. It's got tough non-scratch bristles that can be used on all cookware and easily lifts dirt off without any tireless scrubbing.

Plus, you can add washing-up liquid inside it to help dispense the right amount, and avoid wasting too much liquid. Just press, swirl and your dish is squeaky clean in seconds.

Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense – Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Serum

Pavlina Theodoulou, Head of Affiliates and Partnerships

This is probably the best hyaluronic acid I’ve used, not only does it smooth the appearance of the skin, but also gives an amazing glow to the skin.

It helps to reduce skin wrinkles and lines but has also massively helped reduce the scarring on my face from previous acne breakouts.

I use it both morning and night after my toner. It instantly gets absorbed into the skin, giving you instant hydration – I then follow with my normal skincare routine and am obsessed with the results.

With 33% off, I’ll definitely be buying two to take advantage of this great offer from Amazon.

Cooking: Simply and Well, For One or Many by Jeremy Lee

Kieran Ahuja, Commissioning Editor

I’m part of a food-loving family, and cookbooks are always high on our Christmas lists.

However, they can get expensive, so it’s nice to see that Amazon has discounted a whole range of titles, covering almost every cuisine imaginable.

On my wishlist is Cooking: Simply and Well, For One or Many by Jeremy Lee, the respected chef behind one of London’s most iconic restaurants, Quo Vadis. It’s a British cookbook, but it’s more of a tribute to ingredients than anything else; chapters are arranged alphabetically from Artichokes to Wild Garlic.

Released just last year, its usual RRP is £30, so the opportunity to get it for just £14.99 is one I won’t be missing.

I can already feel my stomach rumbling.

Living Proof Full Dry Volume & Texture Spray

Harriet Flook, Senior E-commerce Writer

Despite writing about beauty and fashion for a living, I fully subscribe to the church of lazy-girl beauty – I want multi-tasking, easy-to-use products.

When it comes to my hair, I like a more tousled, wavy, textured look, and frankly, this product is the holy grail.

It adds textures and movement to your hair, giving it a cool, undone look without the off-putting, sticky or crisp residue that many texture sprays leave behind (and trust me, I've tried a lot).

It's still on the pricier side, but a little goes a long way so you'll find this bottle will last you a decent amount of time.

I'm never without a bottle so I'll definitely be stocking up over Prime Day.

Bose QuietComfort® 45 Bluetooth wireless noise-cancelling headphones

Aaron Dowler, Strategic Partnerships Lead

I actually bought the Bose QuietComfort headphones in the last Amazon deal event so they have had a good few months of testing. In fact, I’m wearing them as I write this.

I didn’t know how much I needed noise cancellation until I had it.

Whether it’s listening to an audiobook whilst wandering around the house or in the busy London commute, being able to block out the world has been invaluable, and really helped my concentration.

In fact, the office has started to realise that once these go on my head then it’s practically me putting a ‘do not disturb’ sign on my chair.

They come in a handy zip-around case that easily fits in a backpack, and I also love the ‘White Smoke’ colour – it’s the right amount of cream without the concern of staining white with various cosmetics and skincare.

With 38% off, it’s a no-brainer.

Kindle Oasis

Matthew Breen, Senior E-Commerce Writer

Without fail, Amazon drops prices across its devices every Prime Day.

You'll find the entire Kindle range on sale right now, but if I had to pick one, it would be the top-end Kindle Oasis, which has been reduced from £229.99 to £179.99.

This is very much Amazon's Rolls Royce of e-readers and one definitely worth the extra spend for dedicated book-lovers.

Its 7-inch, Paperwhite display can be adjusted from white to amber, making it easier on your eyes when you're reading at night.

The built-in Whispersync tech lets you can seamlessly switch from reading on your Kindle to listening via the Audible app on another device without missing a single word.

In a neat touch, the Oasis is also water-resistant to a depth of 3 metres (perfect if you're prone to mishaps in the bath) and right now comes with 3 free months of Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Philips Steam&Go Plus Handheld Clothes Steamer

Zoe Bennetts, Affiliate Manager

Like most, when I get ready I always try on multiple outfits and rarely ever end up leaving the house wearing what I’d initially intended on to begin with.

This means that what I end up choosing can often need a good iron, but over the years I’ve (semi-unintentionally) started boycotting the chore of ironing, and so the hair straighteners end up being my tool of choice for freshening up creased items – shameful, I know.

This Philips Steam&Go has got 15% off so I’ll definitely be getting my hands on it this Prime Day.

The sleek, handheld design makes it super easy to use and extremely portable meaning I can take it on holiday or on trips away.

As we head into party season, it will come in handy and get used all the time to make sure that silky skirts stay crease-free, so it’s a real long-term investment.
