BBC EastEnders fans work out Christmas victim after spotting chilling clue
As Christmas Day approaches, EastEnders fans have been left on tenterhooks waiting to see who will be killed at Christmas – and who the killer may be.
Earlier this year a flash-forward saw Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) discover a dead male body in the Queen Vic.
Since then fans have been predicting just who the body could be, with Monday's episode leading viewers to suspect that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) could be the Christmas victim, after Suki and Stacey discovered that he has something to do with Eve Unwin's (Heather Peace) disappearance.
After Stacey received some flowers from 'Eve' claiming that she had met someone and would be home for Christmas, Suki discovered that these were actually sent by Nish pretending to be Eve.
With Stacey and Suki left terrified for Eve, fans began speculating that either one of them may kill Nish at Christmas.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Suki is plotting her revenge, NISH IS ABOUT TO GO BYE BYE #EastEnder."
A second shared a screenshot of the episode, as Stacey said: "I just want to do whatever is going to hurt him the most," which they captioned: "Stacey declaring to suki she wants to hurt nish as much as possible….OH? #EastEnders."
"Suki panesar allowed herself to sit and be sad for less than one minute, ONE MINUTE, before she came to the conclusion that the only logical thing to do was kiII nish. she has reached breaking point. hell hath no fury… i love this woman more and more every day. #EastEnders," added another.
While fourth predicted: "Our Eve is coming back and will be Nish’s killer as a twist seventh member of the The Six #Eastenders."
It comes after the soap took a dramatic turn when Nish discovered Suki and Eve's affair, and after a confrontation between him and Eve, Nish asked his son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to take Eve into the woods and kill her.
However, unable to do so, Ravi told Eve to leave and never return, or contact anyone in Walford again.
Fans have since been left wondering if Heather Peace has left the soap. Although she hasn’t confirmed or denied this, she did take to Instagram to post about "Sukeve reveal day".
She wrote: "#Sukeve reveal day. The secret is out! Nish knows! I love this story and the time and care that’s been taken by all the team @bbceastenders.
"Suki’s story has resonated with so many from what I’ve seen. The representation has meant a lot too through Eve presenting the way she does. So many thanks to the writers and producers for playing this story out in real time.
"It’s been a precious thing, certainly for me, having not seen a love story like this when I was growing up. I feel blessed to have worked alongside so many beautiful actors too who also care about storytelling."
