Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn got ‘all clear’ from family to do I’m a Celeb
Britney Spears' s sister Jamie Lynn has revealed that she had to check that it was okay with her family to enter the jungle for the latest season of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
The actress, who is known for her role in Zoey 101, is swapping out her glamourous Hollywood life for the jungle as she is set to join this year's star-studded line-up.
The star explained: “The first thing I had to do was talk it over with my family and my kids to make sure they were ok about me being gone for this amount of time." She added: “My oldest daughter is like, ‘OMG I can’t wait to see you do these trials and laugh at you.,”

“But she also said: ‘I’m really proud of you for doing something for yourself’. This will be the longest I have ever been apart from my children and the furthest. But they are going to come over to Australia and it will be a wonderful reunion when I come out.”
The full jungle lineup has finally been revealed and Jamie will be entering the jungle alongside reality star Sam Thompson, This Morning presenter Josie Gibson and First Dates star Fred Sirieix. She will also be alongside YouTuber Nella Rose, GB News presenter Nigel Farage, food critic Grace Dent, pop star Marvin Humes, soap star Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks icon Nick Pickard.
Jamie confessed that she isn’t a patient person; she says she will steer clear of any camp arguments. She explained that she is happy to muck in, but she also does not want to be responsible for cooking the campmates’ meals.

Even though she is a celebrity in her own right, fans will be interested to see if Jamie will "spill the beans" about her ongoing feud with her sister Britney. Last week a source told the Mirror : "Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book.
"It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not."

Britney, 41, and Jamie Lynn were close but it's thought their relationship was strained amid Britney's conservatorship, which was finally lifted in 2021 after 13 years. In her memoir, Britney branded her estranged sister a "total b***h" for not helping her more.
