Coronation Street horror as Gemma Winter rushes child to A&E | The Sun
TIMES have been hard in recent weeks for Gemma Winter and her family, particularly as they have struggled with their finances.
But things go from bad to worse for the Coronation Street favourite when she has to rush one of her children to the hospital.
The bubbly character played by Dolly-Rose Campbell has lost some of her cheerful composure as she's been left struggling to make ends meet and the cost of raising five children has left her under pressure.
Her family's financial woes have been causing trouble for her and her husband Chesney Brown for several months, and even led her to work as PA with her devious ex Henry Newton.
The spiral continued for Gemma when she was laid off from her job at the Rovers Return Inn as Jenny Connor had to give up ownership of the iconic pub and Henry was laid off.
Yet just when she thought things couldn't get worse, life in Weatherfield seems more troublesome than ever as young Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) has to be rushed to hospital.

It all begins next week on ITV when Joseph complains of a headache but his father Chesney (Sam Aston) is disbelieving.
Despite her husband having his doubts, Gemma agrees to keep him off school.
Later on, she begins to worry it could be a sign of something more serious and she decides to take him to A&E.
Chesney is still strict with Joseph and later tells Gemma that, headache or not, the young boy will go to school.
