Corries Daisy and Ryan blackmailed and EastEnders Rockys panic – next weeks soap spoilers

A legacy of terror – Coronation Street

Last week was a tough one for the residents as Stephen’s crimes finally came to light. The dust is far from settled on the scandal either, with the police sniffing around for more evidence of his activities. Carla, meanwhile, faces the daunting task of trying to keep Underworld afloat. She announces she’s off to Spain to secure a new deal, but her staff remain worried about their jobs.

Daisy and Ryan grow ever closer after delivering a talk about stalking to a group of youngsters. Matters eventually come to a head when his temper spirals out of control, forcing him to admit his steroid abuse. Daisy offers him a shoulder to cry on – and one thing leads to another… And when Lauren finds out, she wastes no time in blackmailing the pair.

Elsewhere, Ed’s lack of cash leaves him feeling embarrassed and George offers Todd his old job back.

Keeping mum – EastEnders

Ravi is left speechless when the hunt for Nugget leads him on a merry dance, only for the latter’s mum Priya to drop the mother of all bombshells.

Kathy decides it’s time for her and Rocky to get their own place, prompting him to panic about the state of their bank balance. His attempt to mend fences with Ian, Cindy and Peter so they can all live together falls flat, while Kathy puts an offer on a studio flat, not realising they can’t pay the deposit.

Things aren’t much better for Ian, who learns there is a competitor for the lease on the pawnbrokers. Even worse is to come when George delivers some bad financial news. At least Ian can console himself that, thanks to Sharon, he has patched things up with Kathy.

Meanwhile, Jay is still struggling to cope with his grief, and Sharon ponders her decision to move to Abu Dhabi.

Family affairs – Emmerdale

Sam has a hard time figuring out what Lydia needs from him, and while she scrubs the house from top to bottom, he feels lost and helpless. An update from the police brings bad news but luckily, a chance encounter with Rhona helps Lydia, while Sam finds a staunch ally in Cain.

Meanwhile, a birthday card from Dan sends Amelia over the edge, and David reluctantly messages one of his dating app matches after a little gentle encouragement.

Suni confides Amit’s blackmail attempt and dirty secret to Nicky, who is aghast at what he hears. Amit’s efforts to play happy families have everyone on edge, and things go from bad to worse when Nicky and Sumit learn Caleb and Amit are due to have dinner together.

Sure enough, the men size each other up as they discuss their respective sons, but when Amit asks awkward questions about Gabby, Caleb and Nicky beat a hasty retreat, leaving Suni fuming.

Memories are made of this – Hollyoaks

Tempers are frayed in Hollyoaks village – perhaps even more so than normal. Romeo is once again at the heart of the drama, as he resolves to put on a memorial for Rayne. However he has not yet come to terms with his loss, and his actions threaten to push his friends away.

Phoenix bears the brunt of Romeo’s anger, but it’s only after a later apology that Phoenix reveals what he knows – Brent could not possibly have been responsible for Rayne’s death.

Elsewhere Misbah’s back at the hospital, and she doesn’t have an easy first day. At least she makes it through in one piece – perhaps she’ll get to relax at home afterwards. Although something seems to be troubling Yazz, and it’s not what Misbah thinks.

Hunter meanwhile gets a lesson in data security when Lucas swipes his phone. Come on Hunter, biometric locks are right there, under ‘settings’.

He’ll just have to hope that there’s nothing in his messages he doesn’t want shared…

Love is in the air – Neighbours

Reece and Byron’s relationship is getting serious – she even meets his mother. Both parties are initially nervous, but when Reece offers Jane advice on handling the school situation, the pair form a bond. Jane does, however, worry about the prospect of her son leaving Erinsborough if the relationship develops. Reece, meanwhile, is about to get a blast from the past…

Paul makes an uncharacteristically kind gesture, offering to set up a meeting for Terese with his Aunt Hilary, claiming it may help convince people of the merits of building a retirement village on the school site. He also offers her a base for her operation, free of charge, at Lassiters. However, it soon becomes clear he has an ulterior motive.

Mackenzie tries to move on from Haz by lining up a date with newcomer Ed, little realising he’s Holly’s ex, and Cara worries that an old enemy has caught up with her family.

Felicity turns a corner – Home and Away

The day of Felicity’s meeting with her attacker, Jeremy, arrives – luckily she has Eden and Cash around for support. Unfortunately, on his return to the Bay, Tane isn’t pleased to hear that his wife is taking part in there restorative justice project, but didn’t tell him about it.

The confrontation works well for Felicity, who feels like she’s got control of her life back – hopefully she and Tane can get back on track too.

Rose’s relationship with Samuel, the man she believes is her biological father, begins moving too quickly for her. She also hasn’t told her mother about him yet, and Xander feels uncomfortable about keeping it a secret from her.

Alf asks Bree for help in organising Roo’s long-awaited return home, while Marilyn worries her friend blames her for the injuries she suffered. Plus, it becomes increasingly clear that Kirby and Lyrik’s members are missing each other.
