Emmerdale fans are all thinking that Chas Dingle and vicar Charlie Anderson will have an affair.

On Monday's episode, 18 December, viewers tuned in to see the barmaid opening up to Vicar Charlie as they shared a drink together. While Chas explained she had been left feeling really lonely since her marriage breakdown to Paddy Kirk.

With the twosome looking very cosy and comfortable in each others company, fans have began to speculate that their romance will blossom over the next few episodes. With many expecting another affair on the cards for Chas.

Taking to Twitter – formerly known as X – online users all seemed to reach the same conclusion, with one person writing: "Do. Not. Tell. Me the vicar is going to cheat with Chas. #Emmerdale," a second asked: "Not another affair for Chas #emmerdale, a third added: "The fact that Aaron is predicting exactly what is going to happen between Chas and Charles. I hope he's the first to find out about their affair and throws it back in their faces #emmerdale."
