ITV viewers make the same complaint minutes into Royal Variety Performance

Bradley Walsh opens The Royal Variety Performance 2023

ITV viewers issued the same complaint after Bradley Walsh introduced the Royal Variety Performance 2023. The Chase presenter replaced comedian Lee Mack who fronted the programme last year.

However, just minutes into the show, fans took to social media to share their thoughts about Bradley taking over as the host and while some were loving his stand-up routine, others branded it “boring”.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @Morgan1Utd complained: “Bradley Walsh. Stand-up comedy isn’t for you.”

“What a bore Bradley Walsh is,”@fuzzle7777 stated as @srobbo69 added: “Bradley Walsh’s just not funny! Cringe-worthy start to show. Think he’s just gone to back of the list #RoyalVariety.” (sic)

@LoveRugbyMore went on: “Bradley Walsh completely embarrassing at the beginning not funny at all begging to be given a cbe obe etc etc.” (sic)

@CarmelMcWillia3 echoed: “Agreed, normally love Bradley Walsh, but begging for gong is embarrassing.” (sic)
