Jayne Middlemiss seen 18 years after stunning TV and radio star won the original Love Island | The Sun

JAYNE Middlemiss was the original Love Island winner after winning the celebrity series way back in 2005.

The 52-year-old went on to enjoy a hugely successful TV and broadcasting career after being crowned Love Island champ alongside Fran Cosgrave.

These days Jayne is the daytime presenter for Virgin Radio UK and was this week snapped running errands in London.

Brunette beauty Jayne dressed for the hot weather in a pink vest top and flowy blue skirt.

She wore her hair down and kept it casual in a pair of flat sandals.

During her time in the Love Island villa in Fiji, Jayne grew close to former footballer Lee Sharpe.

During the series, audiences were left gripped as they watched former model Jayne fall hard for Lee.

But Jayne was left heartbroken when he confessed his affection for fellow Love Island competitor Abi Titmuss.

Jayne later told Lee: "I'll always be grateful to you for binning me off on national TV."

In 2009, she won another TV contest when she took the title of Celebrity MasterChef and in 2012 she won an episode of BBC One's Pointless Celebrities with Jamie Theakston.
