Kim Kardashian shows off tinier-than-ever waist in gold bikini – but furious fans call out 'tone-deaf' detail | The Sun
KIM Kardashian has been smashed by fans for what they call a tasteless social media post.
The Kardashians star was criticized for her poor choice of words and even worse timing.
Kim shared a new photo on Instagram, posing in a tight gold bikini.
But fans were looking at her words, not her pictures, and were shocked by what they saw.
The 42-year-old captioned her photo: "All that glitters is gold."
Fans couldn't help but point out the timing of her words, which also happen to be part of the chorus to the Smash Mouth hit All Star.
Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell died just days earlier.
In the comments section, users aired their grievances.
"Kim, the Smash Mouth guy just died," one person lectured. "Take this down."
Another asked: "Did you know the guy that sings this song just died?"

STEVE HARWELL
Smash Mouth legend Steve Harwell died Monday at age 56, after receiving hospice care.
The rock and roll star died on Sunday morning at his home in Boise, Idaho, from liver failure.
Steve died peacefully surrounded by family and friends, the band's manager Robert Hayes told Rolling Stone.
"Steve's legacy will live on through the music," Hayes said.
With Steve at center stage, Smash Mouth sold over 10million albums worldwide and topped the charts with two No. 1 hit singles.
They were featured in multiple television shows and films, including an iconic spot in Shrek which introduced a younger audience to the band.
"Steve's iconic voice is one of the most recognizable voices from his generation," Smash Mouth's manager said.
"He loved the fans and loved to perform. Steve Harwell was a true American Original."
Harwell's death comes just years after he appeared to be disorientated during a live gig in Syracuse, New York, in 2021.
The singer said he was retiring following the moment.
Ongoing health issues influenced his decision to retire as he suffered from cardiomyopathy and Wernicke encephalopathy which can affect motor functions.
KOURTNEY'S SCARE
Kim's post also comes as her older sister, Kourtney, finally revealed why she was rushed to the hospital.
The pregnant reality star admitted she had to have what she called "urgent fetal surgery" on her unborn baby.
Kourtney, 44, shared an emotional post on Instagram.
Next to a simple black and white photo of her holding her husband Travis Barker's hand, she shared: "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.
"I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.
"I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.
