Love Island winner revealed as fourth celeb contestant for new series of Dancing On Ice

Former Love Island winner Amber Davies is the latest celebrity announced to be joining ITV's Dancing on Ice, which will launch in 2024.

Revealing the news exclusively on Lorraine today, Amber said: โ€œI would definitely say that I'm an adrenaline junkie but I do get more nervous as I get older and I hope that I can contain them, I don't want the adrenalin to get the better of me."

She said: "I can count on one hand how many times I've ice skated."

Amber is the fourth celebrity revealed to be doing the show in 2024, joining former S Club star Hannah Spearritt, actress Claire Sweeney and boxer Ricky Hatton MBE.

Longtime Dancing on Ice presenter Holly Willoughby previously confirmed that she would be returning to the ice rink, telling Ricky that she was "so excited" to get him on the show.

The TV star presented Dancing on Ice since 2006 alongside Phillip Schofield, who was her former co-host on This Morning.

But their relationship is believed to have broken down since Phillip admitted to having an affair with a former younger male colleague on the show.

He later quit This Morning after 21 years, and was subsequently dropped by his management, before resigning from ITV completely.

It's yet to be confirmed who will be taking his place and presenting alongside Holly, but it was previously reported that Stephen Mulhern was the producer's first choice for the role.

Catchphrase star Stephen is no stranger to the ice, having hosted the ITV show in Philโ€™s place back in 2022, when he was struck down by covid.

And earlier this year it was reported by the Mirror that the 46 year old – whoโ€™s also at the helm of the much anticipated Deal or No Deal reboot – had been offered the gig.

An insider told the publication: โ€œStephen is the perfect choice. Not only does he get on brilliantly with Holly, he is relaxed and fun which sits well with a show like Dancing on Ice.โ€
