Winter Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan joined the likes of Faye Winter and Amy Dowden at the Pride of Britain Awards on Sunday 8 October.

The pair certainly glammed up as they joined the star-studded red carpet, with Kai, 25, sporting a dapper suit, and Sanam, 25, dazzling in glittering golden dress with matching gloves.

Speaking to OK! at the event, the loved-up pair opened up about their home life after moving in together a few months ago.

Quick to tease his girlfriend, Kai quipped that since the move he's learnt that "she can't cook," before adding: ""She tidies the whole house, I do the cooking."

Hitting back at the comments, Sanam clarified: "He does the cooking every now and again. Who made dinner last? Me," before joking: "I do everything."

And asked if they're still in contact with any of their fellow ex-islanders, Sanam shared: "I see the girls at events and stuff, so when I see them I catch up with them and hang out with them.

"So I am pretty much in contact with most people, and we talk when we see each other."

It comes after Kai recently sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a picture of Sanam sporting a sparkling ring.

He posted a stunning picture of Sanam flashing a silver band on her ring finger, leading their followers to speculate they were engaged.

The reality TV star captioned the photograph "made a promise" with a ring emoji, adding to speculation, although then clarified that it was in fact a promise ring.

However, he did tease that an engagement ring would "come soon." He commented: "Btw guys it’s a promise ring! The big one will come soon dw."

And Sanam previously told OK! that she can't wait to show Kai more of her Indian and Caribbean heritages.

She said: "I only really started to look into my heritage when I was on Love Island when people started to question if I was Indian or Caribbean – people didn’t understand what Indo/Caribbean was.

"But I was starting to see so many positive comments from girls who finally felt represented!

"I have always felt like I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis because I haven’t felt like I fit in with the Indian culture, but I also don’t feel like I fit in with the Caribbean side either."
