Married at First Sight UK groom enjoyed date with TOWIE star before E4 show fame

Married at First Sight UK star Georges previously dated The Only Way Is Essex beauty Chloe Sims.

The TOWIE bombshell appeared as a contestant on Celebs Go Dating back in 2018 and spent some time with sports physio Georges as she tried to find Mr Right.

During their date which aired on E4 five years ago, Chloe let slip that she "loves people called George" and opened up about her marriage plans.

During a clip of their flirty date, Georges explains: "I have been in the South of France for my brother's wedding.

"My family have been all married in the church before, so it's now down to me to get married in that church. I think I would like to personally continue the family tradition. Personally, I would have loved to have invited you to be my guest."

A visibly delighted Chloe, who gaps before asking: 'Why didn't you George?" and he quickly responded: "Well, I didn't get the opportunity."

"I'm all about weddings. I love weddings. I love St Tropez, I love weddings, I love churches. I love people called George"' gushed Chloe, who found fame on TOWIE in 2011.

"Do you?" asks George, before Chloe unashamedly confirms: 'Yeah. I'm all about the George's."

Leaning in closer, Chloe adds: "And it would have been so nice to have seen the church that we're getting married in. That would have been so nice for me."

"Exactly, right? Well I'm glad you're on the same wavelength as me." George agreed, before the pair appear giddily.

Despite their flirty exchange, nothing came of Chloe and Georges relationship and he's now looking for love on MAFS UK.

Defending his previous reality TV stint, Georges told Daily Star and other press: "People have to realise, yeah the cast have done telly before but that means nothing.

"You have to understand this is like no other show. It's an actual experiment, you have to go and the first time you meet them is when you turn around.

"You've got to have some pretty big cojones to do that."

Married at First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday on E4 at 9pm
