My Mum Your Dad fans slam show's 'creepy' binocular scenes as they brand twist 'unnecessary' | The Sun

MY MUM YOUR DAD viewers slammed the show last night after the dating parents' kids spied on them using binoculars.

Singletons Natalie and Paul took to a lake for a fun paddleboarding date as they sought to get to know each other better.

On dry land, their respective children, Kaliel and Mazey, hid away in a cabin where they monitored proceedings with binoculars.

Unbeknown to the parents, the kids secretly advised the yoga teacher overseeing the date via a hidden earpiece.

Fans of the show quickly grew frustrated by the constant flitting between the lake date and antics in the cabin.

They believed there was too much interference, likening it to host Davina McCall's former reality show Big Brother, and wanted to focus more on the date.

A third said: "Why can't they just let adults date without being spied on by their kids? They're grown ffs."

A fourth posted: "Oh geez, just let them GET ON WITH IT!! Why do we have to watch the kids’ constant analysis?! It breaks the flow and viewing enjoyment."

Natalie and Paul hit it off on the water, giggling away as theystruggled getting to grips with wobbly board.

But show bosses threw a spanner in the works later in the programme with the arrival of bombshell blonde Janey, 47.

The recruitment manager and her son Will, 19, explained their reasons for taking part ahead of arriving at the estate.

Janey said Will signed her up for the show because "he's lost all hope for me, he thinks I'm undateable! He wants me to meet someone."

She continued: "I think people might get me wrong at first. I'm aware I might be judged on how outgoing I might be, and the fact my job is performing.

"In reality, I could be the most sensitive person there. And I'm emotional. I'm excited to meet someone that sees that side of me."
