Sharon Osbourne gives health update on Ozzy Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne gives an update on Ozzy’s health

Sharon Osbourne gave an update on her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s health and admitted she was scared to come back to the UK.

Ozzy had a quadbike accident back in 2003 but after suffering another fall in 2019, he was in more pain than ever.

He underwent multiple surgeries but some had gone “drastically gone wrong” and left him “crippled”.

Wanting an update on their health, Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard asked: “How is Ozzy doing? Because I know it has been a tough few years hasn’t it.”

Sharon reflected: “Oh a nightmare. A nightmare five years of operations and just you know I do not know how he has stood for it.

“He is good, no more operations, they’re all done! And he is looking forward to coming back he really is.

“He is the one that has been here the least of the whole family. Working and so he is excited but he is a little bit scared, he goes ‘I won’t know anyone anymore’.”

Ben reassured: “Oh it’s alright, everyone will still know and love him that is the main thing.”

Also during her appearance, Sharon reflected on her personal health struggles and use of Ozempic, admitting she lost a lot more weight than she intended to.

She confessed: “My fear is that it [ozempic] is put in the right hands. I fear for teenagers… I’m scared for those aged 16 to 20 as it’s so easy to take it and think ‘I can eat what I want’.

“It needs to be in the hands of only people who totally understand it. I don’t want young girls… the world we live in today means everyone wants to be skinny.

“I could do with putting on a few pounds but my body isn’t listening.”

Ben asked what Ozzy thought of her using the drugs, Sharon bluntly stated: “He’s scared, he doesn’t like it.

“He’s scared something is going to happen to me. ‘This is it, you’ve got skinny – something it going to happen’… he’s always thinking about the downside and thinks it’s too good to be true.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
