Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard: Who is topping the leaderboard this week?

BBC Breakfast: Bobby Brazier on his fitness after Strictly

Strictly Come Dancing’s remaining couples will be taking to the floor tonight for another chance to secure their place in the BBC competition. Just hours before the show, it was announced actor Nigel Harman and his dance partner Katya Jones had to leave the show after he suffered an injury.

This means only four couples remain, all of whom will be hoping to impress the judges in tonight’s show. Last week, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola topped the leaderboard with 38 points following their Argentine Tango, but will they be able to do it again?

Could tonight’s Musicals’ Week finally see the hotly-anticipated score of 40 being awarded? With only a few couples remaining, everyone is feeling the pressure.

Amazingly, no score of 40 has yet been achieved by this group of contestants, with strict judge Craig Revel Horwood yet to award a 10. Time is almost up though as the weeks go on, and musicals week could be the perfect setting for the achievement.

Where will each be placed on the leaderboard? With Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell, Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin all so close to the finish line, who will stand out tonight?

Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell

Last week, EastEnders star Bobby and partner Dianne received an impressive 37 points for their moving Couple’s Choice routine, dedicated to Bobby’s late mother Jade Goody.

This week, they will be performing a Salsa to ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’ from Dirty Dancing. Will they leave the judging panel stunned once again?

Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe

Last week, Annabel impressed the judges with her Paso Doble, which the couple received a score of 36 for.

This week, the pair will be slowing things down with a Foxtrot to ‘For Good’ from Wicked. Will they achieve an even higher score this week?

Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola

Former Coronation Street star Ellie and partner Vito were tantalisingly close to achieving a 40 last week after their Argentine Tango was awarded a score of 38.

The duo will be performing a Quickstep to Belle from Beauty And The Beast tonight. Will they be the first couple of the series to finally achieve a perfect score?

Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin

Actor Layton and his partner Nikita were told they hadn’t performed “their best” last week and achieved a score of 34 for their American Smooth.

After finding themselves in the dance-off, they were saved by the judges as Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu were forced to say goodbye.

Tonight, the pair will be performing a Paso Doble to Backstage Romance from Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
