Strictlys Adam Thomas sparks concern as star spotted limping in pain
Waterloo Road’s Adam Thomas was seen limping and presumably in pain ahead of this evening’s Strictly Come Dancing live show.
On Friday, the 35-year-old actor was spotted leaving his hotel wearing a long-sleeved white polo top, a pair of dark trousers and chunky New Balance trainers.
While wheeling his suitcase out of the establishment, Adam sported a pained expression and was also seen limping.
The latest snaps come after the ex-Emmerdale actor recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, RA is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, which means that your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake, causing inflammation (painful swelling) in the affected parts.

After announcing his diagnosis, the Strictly star took to Instagram last month to post a shirtless selfie and explain to his one million followers he was “putting on a brave face”.
“To get comfortable feeling uncomfortable. Am not in the best shape of my life, but I could be worse,” he wrote.
“This year has been tough there’s no doubt about that… but I’ve just got to stay focused now! I’m still struggling and the pain is still there but I’m putting on a brave face I’ve got to stay strong [sic]!”
The father-of-two added that spending time in the swimming pool helps ease the pain caused by his RA.
“Swimming helps me so much with my arthritis, I mean as much as it kills me getting my top off and going for a swim, I know it’s helping me and I know it’s also helping me deal with the issues I’ve got with me and my body. Which is a good thing!”

Unfortunately, the former I’m A Celeb contestant’s current pain could dampen his chances of impressing the judges this week.
Adam is due to perform a high-tempo Jive to Take On Me from The Super Mario Bros in front of Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, Anton du Beck, and head judge Shirley Ballas.
The star and his professional partner, Luba Mushtuk, will also hope that the Movie Week performance can boost their overall position on the Strictly leaderboard.
At the time of writing, the pair sit in tenth place with a combined total of 42 points for their Cha Cha Cha to Waffle House by the Jonas Brothers and Tango to Somebody Told Me by Maneskin.
They sit equal to Zara McDermott and her partner Graziano Di Prima, and one point below Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One at 6.20pm on Saturday.
