Strictlys Adam Thomas still not confirmed for live show as bosses scramble
Strictly Come Dancing bosses could be hit with another blow as Adam Thomas' performance is still not confirmed.
The Waterloo Road actor was forced to pull out of his appearance on It Takes Two on Friday night due to illness – leaving his Saturday night performance up in the air. As preparations are well underway for Saturday's (October 28) show, the BBC have been forced to come up with a plan.
The Mirror has reported that Strictly bosses are prioritising the health and well-being of the cast. As a result, plans are being drafted in case Adam is too unwell to perform with his partner Luba Mushtuk this evening. However, they added they are "hopeful".

Concern for Adam's health comes after It Takes Two host Fleur East explained on Friday that he pulled out of the scheduled appearance. She explained that he was feeling unwell but that Luba would still be joining her for the talk show.
Luba then added: "It's so strange to be here by myself. [Adam] is resting now. He just didn't feel very well but he is resting and getting ready for tomorrow night."
Adam is yet to update his fans as to how he's feeling, but he's taken some time away from social media as he prioritises his health and recovery. He had previously explained he wasn't well earlier in the week – which resulted in a ban from rehearsals.
A source told The Sun earlier in the week that bosses "banned" celebs from training if they were ill to avoid them spreading it. Strictly contestants are given a free pass of one week if they're feeling unwell.
Anything longer than a week means they'll need to leave the competition. Adam's potential withdrawal from one live show comes days after it was confirmed that Amanda Abbington had quit the competition.
It was confirmed on It Takes Two last week that she had to pull out of Saturday night's show on medical grounds, but by Monday she had made the decision not to return to the show.
Daily Star has approached BBC for comment. Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 6:40pm on BBC One.
