Strictlys Bobby Brazier hints hell pay tribute to late mum in emotional dance
Bobby Brazier says next performance is very ’emotional’
Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier and his pro partner Dianne Buswell are set to pay tribute to his late mum, Jade Goody, in next Saturday’s episode, and he has admitted “it’s emotional”.
He explained the dance to Fleur East on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.
“We go on this journey throughout…I haven’t learnt the whole dance yet to tell you the story completely but, yeah it’s emotional. It’s gonna be lovely. I think there could be tears,” he revealed.
Dianne concurred saying: “I mean the first 10 seconds when we were in the rehearsal room today I couldn’t look Bobby in the eye because it made me well up.”
The pair are set to dance a Couple’s Choice to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell on Saturday night as the show returns to the BBC studios following Blackpool week.

Prior to the show beginning Bobby had hinted that this is the routine he would dedicate to his late mother Jade Goody.
He made the revelation while speaking at the National Television Awards (NTAs) after winning Best Newcomer in September.
Asked what songs he’d like to dance to he said: “There’s a few – it depends on the mood. Saturday Love and also This Woman’s Worth by Maxwell – that would be beautiful, I’d hope to make people cry doing that.
“Maybe I’ll dedicate that one [to my mum]. I haven’t thought about it, but maybe that one.”
Bobby was only five and his brother Freddie Brazier was four when their mum Jade died from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day 2009.

Couples’ choice routines have proved winners for all the couples so far which each pairing who has undertaken theirs getting their highest marks. Bobby will be hoping that this is the case after ending up in the bottom two for the first time last week.
He and his pro partner Dianne Buswell had performed a Jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! on Saturday night.
The judges were impressed by the routine and awarded them 35 points leaving them joint third on the leaderboard alongside former tennis pro Annabel Croft.
However, that wasn’t enough to save the couple after the public vote was counted and they found themselves in the bottom two alongside Angela Rippon and her partner Kai Widdrington. After they danced again the judges unanimously voted to save Bobby and send Angela home.
Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC One on Saturday night at 7.30pm.
