Lorraine: Bobby speaks about Amanda’s exit from Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Bobby Brazier has shared a cryptic message about Amanda Abbington’s sudden exit from the BBC programme.
The actress was impressing the judges each week with her partner Giovanni Pernice and earned a high score of 31 for their last appearance.
This weekend, Amanda was missing from Saturday night’s show due to medical reasons, although it was expected that she’d return the following week.
However, since then it’s been revealed she won’t be returning to the competition.
Appearing on Tuesday’s instalment of Lorraine, contestant Bobby and his partner Dianne Buswell spoke to Christine Lampard about her sudden exit.

Christine said: “It’s always something every year, isn’t it? It’s just unfortunate because you go in obviously wanting to be there for as long as possible and sadly that hasn’t worked out for her seasons.”
Dianne said: “We’re going to miss her a lot in the competition.”
Cutting in, Bobby told the ITV host he’ll still be going to Amanda’s house for some food despite her not being part of the show.
Dianne added: “She’s invited Bobby over for dinner! We will miss her.”

Sharing his thoughts on the situation, Bobby said: “She’s lovely, but I’m glad she’s doing what she wants.”
The news was confirmed during Monday night’s instalment of Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two by host Fleur East.
A statement from the BBC, said: “Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition.
“The show wishes her all the best in the future.”
However, according to the Press Association, the series will continue as normal with a couple being voted off each week after the dance-off.
Last weekend, viewers said goodbye to Eddie Kadi who became the fourth celebrity to leave the competition with partner Karen Hauer.
The pair went head-to-head with Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima in the dance-off, although the judges decided to unanimously save Zara over Eddie, sending him home.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One from 6.40pm.
