Strictlys Ellie Leach issues heartfelt declaration as Vito Coppola fights tears
Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola looked overwhelmed as his dance partner and rumoured love interest Ellie Leach thanked him for changing her life.
The pair have become huge favourites on the BBC ballroom show this year, with viewers gripped by their passionate routines and convinced that their chemistry and affection towards each other is a sign that they are dating. Coronation Street actress Ellie has now fuelled the romance rumours with her sweet comments about the impact Vito has had on her.
She spoke out as the duo made it through to the final of the ballroom contest, telling Vito she couldn't have done it without him. "Thank you so much for being the best partner, the best friend, always making me laugh, always picking me up when I feel down, always pushing me to put all that hard work in," she said as she looked into his eyes.

"Without you, I couldn’t have done this experience at all," she told the dancer, who looked overwhelmed at her comments. "You have changed my life."
Vito kept opening his mouth in surprise as Ellie spoke, and when she finished her touching speech he looked tearful as he clapped one hand over his mouth. Throwing his arms around her, he kissed the star on the cheek as the audience cheered.
Speculation about a possible romance has been brewing for weeks. Ellie and Vito have not confirmed the rumours, but have set tongues wagging with the messages they pen to each other on social media.
Things ramped up last month when Vito shared a cute post about how proud he was of Ellie. Posting a photo on Instagram of them almost locking lips in a routine, he gushed: "This journey is becoming more special every week.
"Through the dances and playing different characters we are able to discover many different sides of us, and I personally think that that’s what life is, a journey to get to know ourselves better.” He went on: “I am so so proud of you @ellielouiseleach and the woman you are becoming.
"Weeks ago I met a girl, and now look at you and I am sure that you still have much more to show and much more to say Lulú. Everyone is proud of you but mostly you have to be proud of yourself, because you and only you know all the sacrifices and the commitment needed to perform in that way, for someone who has never danced before. Brava Lulú keep going and let’s keep danciiiiing.”
Ellie and Vito have made it through to the Strictly final alongside Layton Williams and his partner Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and his pro partner Dianne Buswell.
