Strictlys Ellie Leach says shell miss Vito Coppola and swoons over pro

Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach says dance partner Vito Coppola has made her believe in herself for the first time.

The former Corrie actress told how spending every day training with the Italian professional had been a life-changer. Ellie, 22, said: “I didn’t realise how much of a personal journey I would go on throughout Strictly.

“I’m so much more confident in myself now. I’m starting to really believe in myself, not just in dancing but in life. I feel like I’ve actually matured a lot and have got a different outlook on life now, which is really incredible.”

The couple have already signed up for the Strictly Tour and are odds-on favourites to lift the Glitter Ball trophy in next week’s grand final. Fans have been gripped by their chemistry on and off the dance floor.

And Ellie, who was Faye Windass in Corrie, has felt sexy for the first time. She said: “It’s something that really surprised me. I didn’t realise I had it in me.”

Thanking Vito, 31, she went on: “I was scared before, but Vito believing in me and in my ability has given me confidence. Now I will throw myself into it, because if Vito trusts me then I’ll just do it. We have danced together pretty much every day for three months so I am really going to miss him.”

Ellie and Vito going their separate ways comes shortly after an influx of reports that they were going incredibly close. An insider previously told Daily Star: "Their relationship is bigger than what the camera captures," and that the duo had found "more than just matching rhythms".

Throughout their time on the show Vito has shared sweet messages about Ellie and referred to her as "baby". He's regularly told her how much he believes in her and thrown support behind her.

However, despite rumours of a relationship, both of them have denied anything more than friendship. They're set to go their separate ways after the show comes to a close next week, before they reunite once again for the Strictly Tour.
