Strictlys Zara and Graziano dealt crushing blow hours before live show

Jody Cundy says leaving Strictly has been ‘pretty hard’

Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott and her partner Graziano Di Prima have been dealt a crushing blow just hours before the live show.

The reality star and professional dancer, who have already landed in the dance-off once, could end up fighting for their place in the competition again this weekend.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Dr Jill Rose Jacobs has shared her predictions on who will be eliminated from the show on Sunday.

Dr. Jill believes Zara Mc Dermott and Krishnan Guru-Murthy could be in the dance-off, meaning one could leave the BBC competition.

“Predicting the celebrity that is showing signs of elimination is a tricky one because there are other factors involved,” she began.

“For example, Zara has been a weak contender in the competition until last week, when aided by a tremendous costume, she looked like a ‘million’ and danced like it.

“Krishnan, as well, has been presented (costumed) wonderfully these past two weeks, which has helped him embody the dance, boosting his performances. In stagecraft, this is known as Razzle Dazzle.”

Dr Jill added: “Zara and Krishnan are not technically on level with their fellow contestants, it’s my prediction that both will be in this week’s dance-off, and both will be eliminated within the next few weeks.”

The bookmakers have also been coming up with their predictions on who will be eliminated this weekend.

According to BetVictor, the former Love Islander has been given odds of 6/4 to be eliminated from the competition.

Eddie Kadi is close behind Zara with odds of 9/4, while Adam Thomas is third at risk of elimination with odds of 7/2.

Sam Boswell, spokesperson of BetVictor stated: “In the elimination market, Zara is our 6/4 favourite to be voted out this weekend.

“Partnered with Graziano, they’re dancing American Smooth to Can’t Fight the Moonlight by LeAnn Rimes. Zara has already found herself in the dance-off previously!”

Sam continued: “They will be pulling out all the stops to impress both the judges and the public at home to secure a place in next week’s Halloween Special – but can they do it for another week? As Zara famously once said: ‘You can!’ but have they got what it takes?

“Close behind them, Eddie comes in at 9/4 as the second favourite to be eliminated this weekend. Eddie and Karen are dancing the Samba to Calm Down by Rema ft Selena Gomez. Will they be able to remain calm?”

Turning his attention who who could be lifting the Glitterball Trophy this year, he added: “In the winning market, former Eastenders bad boy remains our favourite to win the Glitterball trophy at 15/8. Nigel and Katya are foxtrotting to I Just Want to Make Love to You by Etta James.”

“Eastenders star Bobby Brazier was the favourite when the market first went live, but now he finds himself as second favourite at 5/2. He was 3/1 last week so his odds have improved slightly – can he get back on the top spot?”

Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 6.30pm on BBC One.
