Alexa fans go wild as 'the best' Ring doorbell is reduced by 40% in Amazon deal | The Sun

WANT an extra layer of security? The Ring doorbell has had its price reduced by a fantastic 40% on Amazon.

The retailer has dropped the price of the smart doorbell to just £59.99- that's a huge saving.

  • Ring Video Doorbell, £59.99 (was £99.99) – buy from Amazon

Add an extra layer to your home security by upgrading your doorbell to the Ring doorbell so you can identify whoever is at your door without having to open it to them.

The wireless doorbell records video in 1080p with night vision capabilities, so you'll always have a clear view of the person knocking, be it a late-night food delivery or an unexpected guest.

If you're often away, you can also answer the door via the Ring doorbell using a tablet or smartphone so people won't know when you're in. Even if you're the kind of person who is constantly slogged with meetings left and right, you can record quick replies and respond with pre-recorded messages.

The camera isn't limited to showing you anyone who presses the bell, as it also notifies you when movement is captured, so if anyone is trying to be sneaky, you'll still be aware.

No need to worry about it dying constantly since you have the choice between a rechargeable battery or, for constant power, you can hook it up to pre-existing doorbell wires so it'll never go out.

If you have an Echo Dot, it pairs nicely with Alexa since it will notify you when your doorbell is pressed or movement is detected. Nifty.

If you're in need of a home assistant, we spotted another great deal on the Echo Dot.
