Stavros Flatley child star Michalakis ‘Lagi’ Andreas has become a dad for the second time.

The beloved Britain's Got Talent star, known as Lagi, first rose to fame when competing with his dad, Demetrios, as a British-Cypriot dance act back in 2009.

It didn't take long before the dynamic duo stole the hearts of the nation, with Lagi bravely auditioning at the young age of 12 at the time.

But it's clear to see the ITV star is far from a child now and even has a family of his own with his wife Annika Crawford.

On Monday (October 9), the happy couple announced that they have welcomed their second child together just one year after they tied the knot together. Confirming the joyous news online, the new parents shared a sweet snap of their newborn and the adorable connection to Lagi's dad.

Taking to Instagram, the pair shared a black and white photo of their little one alongside their 19-month-old daughter Xenia's hands. They revealed that their second daughter is named Demetria Demetriou, inspired by the other Stavros Flatlet star in his life.

It didn't take long before his famous friends and loyal fans showered the new parents with congratulatory comments online. Former BGT and Strictly star Molly Rainford wrote: "Congratulations [white heart emoji]" as Diversity star Sam Craske added: "Congrats bro [heart emoji]."

Another fan commented: "Wonderful, welcome to the world little one, congratulations to you all [four heart-eyes emojis]." A third echoed: "Congratulations, sending love to you all [heart emoji]."

Demetrios and Demetria are the Latinised male and female forms of the Ancient Greek name Dēmḗtrios AKA Demetris – meaning ‘devoted to goddess Demeter’. Back in July, dancer turned hairdresser Lagi announced that he was due to become a dad of two in a series of social media posts.

In an adorable video montage shared with his thousands of followers, the doting dad gave fans a glimpse inside his breathtaking costal wedding last September. The video ended with Annika cradling their first born while proudly displaying her blossoming baby bump.

The happy couple had been dating for give years before the hunk popped the question on New Years Eve in 2020. In April 2022, Lagi revealed they have become parents to their first child, Xenia Demetriou, who was born in March last year.

Lagi and his father, who was 40 at the time of their success, came fourth on Britain's Got Talent, finishing behind Julian Smith, Susan Boyle and Diversity. They quickly became famous for their bleach blond wigs, comical moves and Demetrios' tattooed stomach.

IN 2019, the loveable duo returned to Simon Cowell's reality show for Britain's Got Talent: The Champions and finished second. Lagi has since quit the dance act to focus on being a father and running his barber shop in the heart of Cyprus.
